On the occasion of the exhibition of Borghildur Óskarsdóttir's works, Heed, and the paralell publication, the will be a symposium on Sunday 12 May about the artist and her work.

The Reykjavík Art Museum received the Museum Council's Öndvegisstyrkur in 2021 to investigate the role of women in Icelandic visual arts in collaboration with the art history program at the University of Iceland. The exhibition is the second of three.
